[RESOLVED] !! Drawing and Moving Nodes of Vector Shapes !!

I am writing some source code, that requires the use of Vector Shapes. I am trying to draw them, using AutoShapes Line Tool, that comes with VB6. I have the first node working right, when it runs into Line1(0) and Line1(1). But anything else, and its not working right.

Also how do I get them to move, at real-time motion and not choppy speeds, that are mind boggling!!

-- The project files, are attached to this thread, so then you get my drift. When I say that it is very hard in deed, to do such things. That I want to do using VB6. Also how, do I use colour, in the object, when they have been peiced together using three or more different lines.

Can you please explain exactly what you're trying to achieve. "and it's not working right" is no help. What's meant to happen and when ?

Problem #1: The objects don't move right in the position that I wish to move them in.

Sorry, I don't think you understood my question. What exactly are you trying to do ?

For whatever reason you have 4 Pictureboxes and lines and a Lebel. Various thing happen on Mousedown events depending on where the mouse is at the time. I can't work out the logic.

So, let's start out with a couple of simple questions:

What shapes are you trying to create ?
How do you want to move them about / change their attributes (eg size, position)?

Well seeing that the Lines, don't have a Click Event, then I had to try something else. A Label, that is transparent, I used.

I wish to move them about, using the normal positioning process of controls.
Eg: MouseDown and then Drag objects around the Form.

I wish to size them, using the .Width and .Height properties of the controls only.

Problem #1: How do I remove the Label Control, and then make it possible to have a Click Event without another Control on top of the Line Shapes???
Problem #2: How do I colour the Vector Shape, using the Colour Tool when they have been able to form up a Shape, using the Lines, that are there are more Lines, and Nodes as possible???

Problem: How do I create a mask over the part of the UserControl, that I don't want to be shown???

For Example: I am going to use the background of the UserControl, to be the background colour, of the control. Instead because I cannot create a solid colour, from four lines. And as such, then that is what I am going to do. But there is one thing wrong. I must make a cut out, from a PictureBox that is lined up in the same position of the control, and over the top of it. Then when the Lines, are in place. Then the PictureBox is then cut into the right place. Be it, in a diagonal way shape or form???

-- Seems like hard work, trying to do this. But then someone has to give it a go, for the rest of the group/Forum. I guess, anyway. This is part of my project, that you can make your own Vector Shapes in my programming langauge!! Just like in Director and Lingo software programming...

Problem: I am trying to make a Mask PictureBox or Mask Frame, appear over the Control. That part I have down pat. But trying to cut a shape into it, using the Line's Tool, doesn't ring any bells, as such and the like.

Can I please have some help, in this matter.
