PLZ PLZ PLZ Help creating deploy XI R2

Hi Peeps,

I recently tried to install my app on windows 7 and the reports would print once and then the app would crash. After googling for hours I found I needed to use XI Release 2 with all the service packs so I downloaded them and installed them; changed the references etc and the app works okay. For the life of my I cannot create an install using visual installer. It keeps saying CrystalReprots11_5_RDC_License.MSM is invalid or the module is being edited. After more googling I read you need to use Ocra to add the Keycode I have from Release 1 which I purchased. I did this but now I get the same for the runtime and report merge modules.

I cannot believe the problems I am having trying to deploy my application. I did read somewhere that Release 1 Keycode would not work for Release 2 but where do I get a release 2 keycode. This package has cost me over 500 pounds and I cant even deploy my apps. GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Thank you for that but my application is developed in VB6 and I have Crystal Report R2 and all the service packs. My problem is I cannot create a deployment.

Have you tried something like Inno?
