Hi,

i'm an extremely beginner programmer and i would like to now how to make a new layout apear when a user clicks a command in a menu. you know, like when you are in a program and you go to the menu and click, like settings or something and the main window is now the settings panel.

i didn't understand your Q well..

use two forms for main and settings layout

then

Private Sub Command1_click ()
frmSettings.show
frmMain.hide
End sub

but try posting your query in the Gen. VB Questions
