i'm working on a fan-remake of a game called Atomino (check youtube)

I am looking for help with the graphics and music and sound.

First however, if anyone has a good idea for the name of this game, i am all ears. This remake is in hi-res or pretty-close especially considering the original is cga graphics and the youtube video is equivalent to pc ega (amiga version).

when done, this game will be submitted as shareware for review on bytejacker.
Collaborators will get FULL credit as deserved and a cut of any paypal money (probably none- let's be realistic) but i'm doing this for the challenge and fun.

So to recap:
1. Need a good name for this game.
2. After the name, updated graphics so i don't get sued. Animations can be programmed in if you multiple frames, as well as custom fonts etc etc. Graphic arts have never been my strong suit and i'm using ripped art from the original right now.
3. To go with the above, a title screen and splash screen for the high-score table, and a 3rd screen for selecting gameplay modes ala collapse. I have been unable to find a screen shot of this screen but i'll provide one eventually since i actually own a copy of this game but i don't own the system it runs on.
4. Finally, if we have any musical geniuses or sound-effect masters available, this would be a nice final touch. The original score is available on youtube but it could be used as a basis or ignored entirely.

That's about it. I have a goal of two weeks for a basic mechanics playable demo and under two months for a polished result.

Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, what are you using to program this with?

thanks to an amazing amount of side-issues occurring lately, i haven't worked on it in about 3 weeks now but it's being written in vb.net 2010. I will be target-compiling it for net 2.0 probably.

no big. I've got a game submission in the contest forum that i wrote in vb6. I actually started with qbasic and .net is a recent change. I do stuff like this adaptation to learn.

Yeah. I tried vb.net. Didn't really like the setup of it. Also herd that some of the coding is different.... Not to big on that. I have just got done making a game in vb6. Its okay i guess. Trying to perfect it. =)
