Okay when I was a part of the labor force I used InstallSheild for my installations; no problem. Once I retired I used the P&D Wizard for what few programs I actually wanted to distribute and that was no problem for a while. As everyone I'm sure knows, the P&D Wizard is now outdated and so in looking at "modern", free, installers I tried Inno. Inno worked okay but now my McAfee is giving a false positive for compil32.exe (the inno compiler) as being a trojan and so it won't let me use it. I'm pretty sure that that will be a temporary situation but in the meantime I thought I'd try msi. When I went to the web I found that neither msi 3.0 or 3.1 support my operating system which is XP (Pro) SP3. What do I do?
