I think that you should download this program. It's called Character Enhance, and it enhances (actually any graphic) by doubling the resolution, without losing pic. quality. It was originally for an emulator someone else was working on, but I have decided to release it to the public. Here you go. It's freeware but dont try to steal it, 'cause I've boobytrapped it. :)

since I am not an native english speaker, I have read some pretty funny translations. I guess for most of them bad machine translations are to blame. But well some kind of not thinking programmer must haven been involved :)
