I'm having problems loading the Sheridan 3d control (i.e. Threed.ocx). I received a project that contained this control. I put the .ocx in the WINNT\system32 directory. When I loaded the project, I saw a license error that said that I do not have the appropriate license for design implementation.

So, I talked to the client who sent the VB project to find the source of this Sheridan 3d component. They told me that I can load it by applying the Service Pack 3 for Visual Studio. I did this and still received the same error.

The client has no more information to give, and I'm finding very little useful info on the Microsoft website. Have any of you used these controls, and could you offer any advice for what I can do to either get more information or resolve this problem???

Thanks for the help-

For those who may have similiar problems, here's what I found. First of all the Threed.ocx is found on the third installation disk of the Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise edition. From this disk you can copy the control to the WINNT directory. Once you have done this, then you must run the VBctrls.reg (found in the same directory as the .ocx on the 3rd disk) in order to register the control.
