screensaver problem

We are developing a screensaver which consists on a Macromedia Director movie (Shockwave format). The ss works fine using some code we found into this site. In one hand we use code for emulate the ss and in the other we change the screen resolution. On separate projects each one works well, but when we try to put them into the same project, the ss doesn´t recognize events and therefore it can´t exit pressing a key or moving the mouse. Please, if anybody can help us and need more information about our problem we´ll send him the code. Thanks a lot.
