    VS2005+ Dual Licensing

    If I have this right a single license for Visual Studio 2005 or later (if not before) isn't able to be treated as a dual license directly. In other words if you have a desktop and a laptop, but only develop using one at a time, you normally need to acquire 2 licenses.

    Is this correct? If not, does anyone have an authoritative link describing the situation?


    I found a rather bizarre and clumsy alternative described here:

    I'm not advocating it and I'm not associated with those guys. I'm just curious what the real situation is.
