If you develop a mobile app that reads data from a user's digital watch for example. Does the watch company have rights to the app itself or more accurately do you as the developer have to negotiate with them the release of said app before distribution and profits would be even be factored in ? Just curious in the realm of where does a developer have proprietary rights alone...
