Has anybody heard of a trojan called SubSeven?? Well, let me tell you...My dad got his first glimpse of it last night. He pulled an attachment from an e-mail, and his system files were almost immediately corrupted. If you clicked on the Start button, a DLL error popped up, and CTRL+ALT+DEL didn't work. So I had to hit the power button to shut it down, and everytime it rebooted, it seemed likesomething else got damaged. Finally, I got it into DOS, and deleted the infected files. Then it was just a simple matter of using the registry restore tool.(God Bless Windows ME). It's all taken care of now, but I was up until 2 AM trying to fix it!
