    I have a program which works fine and exits properly in the IDE. Once compiled to native or p-,it runs fine outside the IDE, but on exit I get an "illegal operation" in kernel32.dll. All forms are unloaded and all vars released; I use common controls, treeview, plus axgrid and ccrp status bar.
    Any ideas please?

    sorry, I was just Joking..

    Try restarting and doing a fresh compile.

    sometimes VB adds all kind of nonesense to the compiled app if it has been used with many other applications.
