Will embeded WMP on site work on cell phones?
Hi Everyone,
I wrote a small webcam application that uses WMP for viewing it for better streaming. And the person views it through their web browser with WMP embeded in the page. If someone with windows mobile 6+ goes on there, will it load on their phone? I know I can always pass them the url for WMP to use but was wondering about web pages with WMP in them. The clid I am using for WMP is for version 10 which is backwards compatible. But not sure if supported for mobile use.
Thanks!
Warren

I have read a few sites saying that WMP will Work on Windows Mobile 6+ however, you might need to read this in order to get it working correctly. You might also want to look at Windows Media Player wiki to make sure your goals are achievable.
More here!
Edit:
You might want to pm petevick asking what he thinks about this.
