I am using the VB setup wizard to create a distribution. However, I keep getting a message coming up saying, "No dependancy information can be found for the following files.", and then a list of files. I never used to get this, and it appears to be causing a problem with the application when installed on a third party machine.
Does anybody have any idea how to create the dependancy information for the files? They are not files which I have created, they appear to be standard Microsoft stuff.
Cheers,
SC.

If the dependancy files that are missing are those for programs that you've created, you can use the distribution / package creator to create the dependancy files only. I'm not sure if you can do it for one you've not created. They basically list all the files that the file you want to add is dependant on, so you can find the imported files, but any non-imported files can't be found because it doesn't know what they are because there is no specific relationship that can be got from the file you're trying to add ! I still get this from controls that I've created !
cheers
