Wanted: Careful competent access programmer for small, paid project. Suit capable student seeking to supplement income. UK location prefered but not essential.
Task Requirement: Our client wants is system whereby customer fill out boxes on pre-fabricated legal forms on-line, pay upfront, and have the document sent to him for editing and polish, before sending back to the client.
His present system uses a cgi-bin, which generates an e-mail with the info for the blank fields, which his staff then cut and paste into the template. He'd like to eliminate the cut-and-paste aspect so as to speed up production on his end. He doesn't envision eliminating the human element in producing the final documents, given legal complexities, but would like to streamline the process.
We think that this is not a PERL job as there are fifty versions of each form which he will no doubt want to edit and update over time. Given the relatively low server traffic anticipated and the modest number of records as well as the device independence need at the client end we think an Access database will do the job but we are willing to listen to alterantive suggestions.
