thnks for your quick response but i have 1 more problem
I copy and paste the code into a new form and i m getting an error in PROCESSENTRY32 Type and saying that a constant expression required where the MAX_PATH exists
Sorry about that, add this to the code.
Private Const MAX_PATH = 260
Try this:
Private Declare Function PostMessage Lib "user32" Alias "PostMessageA" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal wMsg As Long, ByVal wParam As Long, ByVal lParam As Long) As Long
Private Declare Function DestroyWindow Lib "user32" (ByVal hwnd As Long) As Long
Private Const WM_CLOSE = &H10
Private Sub Command1_Click()
PostMessage hwnd_of_window, WM_CLOSE, 0, 0
DestroyWindow hwnd_of_window
End Sub
