I want to extract information from the version resource in order to display it on my 'About' dialog (version number and copyright info). Then I only have to change one thing when changing versions and other stuff updates automatically.
Except I can find how to do it.
Anyone got any ideas? There are plenty of examples for getting version info from files, but none for getting version info from the version resource.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions as to how to auto-update my splash screen... the best I can do is to have a dialog with a generic bitmap background and text boxes / labels for trademarks, copyright, version, build etc.
