General Question Regarding the interview

The candidate should be BE/B Tech/MCA/ Computer Science Graduates (first class throughout) with 1-4 years of experience (in detail level of coding, code walk – through and unit testing of S/W modules. Knowledge of VB.Net, Application Server (JBoss, Websphere) with Webservices and Oracle or SQL as backend is essential. Thorough knowledge of OS and H/W systems is required. Basic knowledge of current technological trends in the S/W development industry such as OOPs, Multi-Tier S/W development, Component Architecture, Web-Based S/W such as JSP is required. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer relation skills.

2) I read in many sites that Required VB.Net programmer(Web Based),But VB.net is windows based?

3)See Above Web-Based S/W such as JSP is required,in VB.Net JSP????? I didnt get it?JSP is used in ASP.net na?

2.) VB.net is a language that can be used to create all sorts of applications. You can create console applications, Windows forms applications, WPF applications, Windows Services, web sites, and web services just to name a few.

3.) VB.Net does seem a bit out of place in that job description. Everything seems java based except for the vb.net piece. You would not use JSP in a .Net application.
