Is it possible to clear the browser history programmatically through Javascript. Thanks in advance.

Dear Chris,
Thanks for the solution. However I could not find this registry key in Windows NT. Besides if the user maintains his profile then the list of typed URLS will be present only in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Actually I am looking for something with Netscape and IE both. Any ideas.

msdnexpert, yes, if you're connected to a server than it should be refer to the folling registry path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
else it should be under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
As for Netscape, I got no idea about it. Perhaps it juz somewhere around the nearby registry
