There's a feature over at XtremeVBTalk [that seems to use the same forum software, but I could be wrong!:)], where hovering over a thread heading shows a tooltip with the first few lines from the thread's first post.
Would this be possible to set up here?
Just wondering.

That feature is a result of an add-on for vBulletin.

Do you mean a server-side addon or a browser add-on?
If you meant a browser addon, the tooltip appears on the other board without any browser Addon.
If you meant a server-side addon, then how can we convince the admins to get it? :D

We turned that feature off.

I don't remember, it being available. Then again, my memory isn't as good as I want it to be.

I remember those days.... I think that was one thing nearly all of us at the time could agree on ... it was annoying.

Wow! Some strong feelings around having a preview tooltip! :D
Looks like I'm probably out-voted. I'll give some others a chance to chime in, though.

Its a default built in setting with vB and yes its annoying as heck. If you search the feedback forum for the original thread I think you will see how much members disliked it.

Well, I give in! :D
The board has spoken (apparently not for the 1st time! :p), tooltip previews are bad.
