help me out in learning graphics

could someone tell me names of good books that cover graphics programming using directx extensively in vb or c.it would be helpful.also plz give me some web references for same.

go to amazon.com and search directx7. i know they have atleast 1 book on it which in in C++ think but it doesnt say.

A new book is going to be released sometime this month on DX8. It will almost guarenteed be in C++, though. For pure VB graphics (no DX or anything) Visual Basic Graphics Programming is a great book.
