As title suggests some forums (VB.Net, VB6) that now have subforums have become very cluttered.
I'm attaching screenshot of my desktop.
As you can see on the picture only 3-5 threads are visible due to announcements taken some space as well as subforum - those 2 at least take 25% of my screen.
Someone would say "scroll it down" and that is true, however the whole point for me to be here is to help people and therefore all I care about is current threads.
And I would like to see them as many as possible which becomes more and more difficult with the current layout.
So, my question is: is it possible to "move" those 2 elsewhere or perhaps provide tiny links somewhere beneath the vbwire section?
I appreciate anybody's comments however question is mainly aimed at site admins.
I think placing the Announcements etc. beside the sub-forum (on right or left) would reduce the space taken by nearly half. I'm not sure though if this is possible.

As you only care about current posts, surely the "New posts" search is the way to go?
That not only eliminates the Sub-forums and Announcements (and the "New thread" button), but also threads that you have already read (or marked as read via "Quick Links" or "Forum Tools").
I personally have bookmarks for a few (in a 'VBF' folder, so I can right-click to open them all), but of course whether you use the same method or not is up to you.
That's like I said but it's much more convenient to see more of relevant topics than something else.
All recent threads are always on top and that is in each forum.
I was only hopping that forums can be uncluttered but I guess it's out of question.
I have set up subscriptions to the forums of interest. That, in combination with subscriptions to individual threads, and the new posts section, is more than enough for me.
