It seems for the first time ever the number of obese people (1.8 billion) in the world is greater than the number of malnourished people, how would you vote.

There should be no malnourished people in the world.

What i meant was that since their is more fat people than their is malnourished people or "skinny" people...
their should be no reason why anyone should be malnourished or underweight..

Most fat people that i know or see are not happy or cheerful..they are upset because they are fat and they take the fact that they are fat out on everyone they know.

provide a readymade subject of amusement to others, without any hard feelings.

I have never heard anything so wrong in my entire life.
Just because it is not expressed that they are hurt or offended by a comment, does not make it true. There have been many times that I have pretended to ignore something, but it really hurt... your eyes decieve you..

They are upset, and are *******s, because of the other *******s that mock them for being overweight.. If they weren't mocked, stereotyped or anything else, I'm sure they would be cheerful just like everybody else..

Well I used to be a fat bastard when I was in primary school, not one of 'the fat kids' (the ones that could hardly walk), just fat, and I wasn't particularly happy about it. I wasn't that bothered but it didn't bother me if anybody said anything. Come to think of it, nobody ever really said anything about it.... probably because they knew I would have punched them in the face  *Ahem* Umm well I would have done then, but I'm a lot more peaceful now. Probably too peaceful in fact. Anyway, I digress.

Irrelevant of whether there are malnourished people around, obesity is pretty obviously a bad thing. Not only for people who are obese, but for the rest of the taxpayers who will inevitably bear the brunt of their higher healthcare costs. Well here in the UK where we have the NHS anyway. It's like smoking in that respect. It also shows how lazy we are becoming as a society (I include myself in this, I am one of the laziest bastards on Earth) which is clearly also not good.

1.8 billion... bloody hell I just realised how many people that is... How many people are there in the world, 6 billion?

One problem with this.. This would make the Malnourished people into Fat people and we would be wiped out by our own canabalism.

I like your way of thiking and this should sort out the problem easily.

Find it kinda cruel that were taking the p!ss here, but how would you go about getting all these people over to the malnourished countries - if you're getting the heaviest together, that could sink the ship or make a plane go down (unless it's concourde as these don't need any more help).

This needs to be better thought out...

Why not transport the malnourished to their food? We could catapult them and them would make it....
