A price for this program.
Hi!
I really don't if I'm posting in the right section.
I've made a program to a friend, but now I don't what price I should ask for it.
What the program does:
- Reads a excel file that contains films names and respective years.
- Then search the film in IMDB.
- It then retrieves numerous informations (director, cast, runtime, etc).
- Finally it saves all the retrieved data in a txt file.
How much do you think this program is worth?

If it is for a friend I probably wouldn't charge, let him be your evangelist and tell potential customers how well you did!

Charge him $10 for the caffeine you drank to make it.

For quick little things, I charge a 6-pack of Guinness and/or a free dinner.

Is there not a restriction on using the IMDB for comercial gain under their T&C's?

Its no problem. Its for personnal use, my friend is a film fanatic. And I won't charge anything for the program. To do so would be stupid.
