We need an application to do the following:
Using a MAC and remote desktop application to a Windows server, we need to pull files from the mac, ftp them to the server, look for appropriate folders on the server, save the files to the appropriate folders or, if the folders do not exist, create them first.
This needs to operate in batch mode, providing a ui allowing us to enter perhaps 100 folder sources, and transferring several thousand files in each batch operation.
I am happy to provide a more detailed outline. We have minimal experience with VB, and it is only a best guess on our part that VB is the way to go. Perhaps there is a better way to skin the cat. Regardless, I would like to hear from anyone who can help us with this - and hopefully, someone can do what is necessary to meet the requirements.
