Help: wmp song info *already searched forums*

I need help getting the info of songs playing in windows media player (referenced in my project).

that guy had the exact same problem as me. SOMETIMES "artist" and "album" will work, and sometimes it won't. However, when it doesn't, its not because the song doesn't have it, because I've ran in Windows Media Player and it displays it.

What is Windows Media Player calling that I'm not? Also, I know that there are like some 75 or so different attributes with a song, because i listed all of "getattributename", but i really couldn't find anything else in the list.

PLEAAAAAASE HELP. This is very frustrating. I've been searching the internet for hours.

You don't specify what audio format(s) you are playing in WMP.
If Mp3, you need to learn about ID3 tags.

Other audio formats may or may not have tags, e. g. Waves do not.
I think you will have to google if you're playing other formats.
