MouseOvers really slow in NS6

I have some javascript/DHTML on my page and it is supposed to swap two images.
it does but it is 'slow' in NS6. I can move my mouse over the images and off and the image will not show up for a second or two.

this is in NS6 in IE it works fine.

yea, it's more than that. I mean, I can mouse over really slow and the images work fine but if I do it fast they show up real slow.

there are 9 images in a row and so if you mouse over all of them quickly the last one is just showing up by the time you mouse over the last one.

the mouse over stuff works perfect in IE 5 and NS4.7 but not in NS6

hmmm....well i have heard about NS6 having a lot of speed problems, and it sounds something more like a browser problem than a script problem. Maybe wait until a new version of NS6 comes out and fixes some caching problems.
