    Exclamation Where to post?

    Hi guys!

Our company has developed new ActiveX for image manipulations, which can be useful alot in VB projects.

I'd like to tell about it a bit, but don't know in which forum district to post. You can say - ask a moderator. Sure... But there is no private messages on this forum and actually I dont see any way to ask moderator something.

    Any advises?

    ActiveX is evil... mmkay?

This forum also does have private messaging capabilities. My "advises" is to advertise on a different site.

Sometimes ActiveX is the only way to add custom control to some project, in VBA for example.

Can you send me a private message to check? Can't find any single control about PMs here, quite confusing.

What you mean "advertise"? Am I proposing enlargement pills or click-for-money service?

I am going to discuss Visual Basic & Development -related topic, would like to hear some critics the same way as you critique a code pieces of each other. Whats wrong?

    Welcome to VBForums

    Thread moved to "Forum Feedback".

You cannot PM yet, you need a certain amount of valid posts in the technical forums before they become available to you. It is unfortunate at times like this (as I would have been able to send you a PM to explain why your posts were gone), but there are valid reasons for that restriction.

You were blatantly advertising a product; denying that is foolish at best. It doesn't matter what the product is, and it wouldn't matter much if it was free either (which it isn't).

From our rules which you agreed to when signing up (which you can see again via the Acceptable Use Policy link at the bottom of all VBForums pages):
    * You will not post advertisements, ...
That is why I deleted your threads.

If you want to advertise to our members, you will need to do it officially by paying for it - as is done by the companies shown at the top-right (and bottom) of our pages. If you want to do that then send an email to Webmaster at this site, but note that the price is probably much higher than you will be willing to pay.

Oh, I see. Isn't it possible just to restricts PMs sending, not receiving in vBulletin?

Is there any other legal way to talk about our solution with ppl at VBForums.com, in order to know their opinion and suggestions? - Most of forums discussions are about commercial products,

In fact, it can save few days of work for someone, and give much GUI ideas.
And its shareware, so anyone can use it as long as he likes.

I don't know if it is possible, but it would be rather pointless for me to send you a message that you couldn't reply to - as your latest post proves.

I can't think of a valid way at the moment, and am about to finish here for the day.. perhaps another moderator/admin can suggest something.
Most of forums discussions are about commercial products,
No they aren't - the vast majority of discussions are about writing code (which sometimes becomes part of a product), not about the products.
