For starters, I'm shure there's a ton of threads like this all around, but as I'm lazy I couldn't be bothered to find one.

Which do you find better? Does simple speed and low system requirements beat OOP, multithreading and new image formats? Should MS have kept on developing VB6 instead of abandoning it and creating the .net framework which can be compared to a snail in speed?

As you mention yourself this has been discussed to death and I don't really see any good coming out of dragging this up again. Why not just look at the old threads if you are genuinely interested in the opinions of VBF members, and not just looking to create a fiery debate?

The facts being - one more thread about the same subject doesn't hurt anyone. I created a new thread as I wanted it to get attention to this matter, and I wanted everyone that this subject concerns to respond to this one with their fresh opinions. Yet, as I know that most of the forums are filled with so called forum fanatics, in which I mean people who grow **** for their brain for seeing threads about questions that have already been aswered, breaking any forum rules, etc, etc. It's not really that serious. That's why I mentioned the fact that this has propably been mentioned before.

Now, this is for everyone:
Please. If you have something to say that isn't related to Visual Basic, PM me instead of filling my thread with bullshit. Thank you.

As for you Atheist, personally I respect you as a programmer as I get your opinion about this matter. In a nutshell, don't be offended for what I said.

That's enough drama for tonight(at least online), I'm back to hitting the bottle. Laters.

Is it really that much of an inconvenience to do a forum search that'll bring up a bunch of threads on the topic just like yours?

I already made myself clear on this matter, I'm not going to repeat myself.

Next admin/moderator that sees this, I request removing the last 4 posts from this thread, including mine.
I justify that by the fact I made it clear in my first post that I don't want anything like this. I even said in my response to Atheist that if you felt this way and just had to express your opinion, PM me.
