I was just wondering why some people, specifically Megatron and Matthew Gates, have different titles other that the normal ones like Guru, HyperActive Member, etc. Matthew Gates has no title, and Megatron is Decepticon. What's up with this? Is this an option for the Gurus?

Megatron got to pick his own title because he has over 4200 posts (or something like that)
there used to be a list of titles in the FAQ, but i can't find it at the moment
You have to have greater than 64^2 posts(4096)

I had a pretty good idea that that's what happened. I just wanted to make sure. How do they get all those posts!?
Just take 1 hour of your day to post answers here. That's all you have to do.
If I would spend all my time here posting answers I would have passed you by about 10,000 posts...
I'm on VB-World about 8-9 hours a day. Or more...

damn...good point...
Learn what you can. Take that information, answer people's questions and help out. You'll learn even more when you help people out :).
But don't rush it, take your time, no need to useless post just to get it. Because it's John who decides whether you deserve it or not.
I know how to help people Matthew
But, I'm not here to get a custom title or whatever.. I just want to have fun, and help people if they haven't been already.... but it's mostly for fun :D

I used to answer a lot more questions than I do now...because I've moved into Chit Chat now, occasionally answering some C++ stuff.
