Creating an array of a structure.

Ok I am having a heck of time with this project. The more I read my book the more confused I get, as the programming example is not even close to what this assignment is
I am to modify my existing project to keep track of an order in an array.

Every _$+!# time I try to do that my existing form no longer works, so I think I am overcomplicating things.

I am so lost. I AM NOT asking for anyone to write my code! I am asking for some guidance as to where it should go, or perhaps explain what exactly I am placing in array or perhaps point in a general direction of an answer.
