Creating Email System frm VB

Hi There,
I want to create an emailing system in my Vb Application which will send & receive reports which i generate in crystal reps..
I made one using outlook.mailitem but it is not working properly..
can u provide code for my req..

have you tried MAPI DLLS to send mail ..
these APIs are in i think MAPI32.DLL
