    Subscription notification?

This may be something that needs to be built into vBulletin itself, but I just had the idea... why not add a notification (similar to how PM's currently work) that only shows if there are unread replies to subscribed threads, and shows how many. The User CP lists all those threads, so getting a count for a notification doesn't sound that hard.

    Thoughts?

Anything like that would be a vBulletin change which isn't likely to happen but in any case I don't see the added value. You get a notification now for any thread you have created or replied to isn't that enough?

It could just be me being lazy, but right now, vB lets you know when you have a PM... otherwise you'd have to go to the User CP to see. I just find that sometimes I have questions or posts in multiple forums, and keeping track of all of them can be a pain, so I just monitor the User CP for replies. I don't see why vB can't notify us of those just like it does PM's.

No, not true. To get notifications go to User CP|Edit Options|Default Thread Subscription Mode. Once there choose Instant email notification or one of the others besides Do not subscribe.
