This is nothing more than a vague musing / suggestion...

Do you think there is enough support on VBF for an amateur (digital) photography forum?

The Photography Contests (which are excellent by the way) are quite popular and there's an increasing number of ChitChat threads about photography. It's something accessible to all forum members ('social' members as well as experienced programmers (which is VBF's bread and butter) would be able to contribute equally).

Plus given the nice, shiny new forum software we can upload our photos to our albums.

Just a thought :)

Sorry, but photography doesn't really fit into the core focus of this site or even the secondary focus (development). I don't see us creating a photography forum here.

I was about to say essentially the same thing as Brad, but you could sart a photography social group. About uploading using the "shiny new forum software", unfortunately the photos have to be pretty small at a maximum of 97.7 KB and maximum dimensions of 600 by 600 Pixels each.
