Combat Arms, anyone has?
Anyone has Combat Arms? It's fun. You should definitely get it if you're into MMOFPS that are free. Seriously, what beats a free MMOFPS for Windows? If you play, what's your ID? I'm ZImUbna.

A paid MMOFPS.
In all seriousness, they aren't all bad, but the problem is that they aren't too great either. Urban Terror is just awful in comparison to Counterstrike, while Nexuiz is like a free (but slightly ugly) clone of UT - if you can get past the looks (and half of the morons online), then it's great fun.

Counterstrike was lame, I personally didn't find any entertainment at all in it. I kept wondering why I had to select my gun at the beginning of the game and why the graphics were complete crap. But, then again. Graphics don't make a game.. Donkey Kong anyone?

I like free things, so I'd be inclined to give this a try. Then I thought of something... Counterstrike (Source in my case, dont play it any more though) is a game you have to pay for, and you can get your account banned for cheating, which I can imagine keeps the cheating down in the game. Even so, there are the occasional git coming on ruining the game for everyone else.
This game though is free, whats stopping said gits to run wild with their dirty cheats over and over again?

Oh, I don't know. Perhaps it's because it was created in 1999, and nVIDIA only really started "controlling" the graphic card industry from 1999 - 2002...
I say it had the best graphics at that time, but hey: That's just me.

I'm too young to know what Donkey Kong is.
I agree with your point about choosing guns, but tbh I'd rather have a choice than have it thrusted upon me.
And also, the graphics wasn't too bad... Oh wait... I mean Counterstrike Source. Counterstrike graphics were terrible but at least it was a mod from Half Life, so it has that redeeming quality.
But yes, graphics don't make a game. That's something we can agree on.

While trying to download this game, I heard a lot about it being notorious for hackers and glitches. That isn't so much of a big deal. The killer for me was when I downloaded the game, installed it, tried to log in, but failed because apparently I downloaded the wrong country version.
Already I hate the WoW style clients, so I try to get the EU version, download it, run it, except the main programmer downloader keeps crashing under Windows 7. -_-
You may try it Atheist and see if it's any good or not, but for me, I can't even get it to run.
