forum jump combo
I think the user experience would be improved if the "Forum Jump" combo box was moved ABOVE the threads instead of being at the bottom. Or perhaps leave it where it is but add a toolbar-dropdown?
The way it's set up now, it's actually easier to click an old thread in the appropriate forum and then click the area link at the top of the thread. Scrolling down is not only slow but it removes it from view and out of mind.

Re: forum jump combo
I reckon the spot next to the "New Thread" button is better than where the drop box is located at the moment. By "Toolbar" I assume you mean have the selections going across the page instead of down the page? That could work but if it remains in the same spot as it is now it will still be hard too see.

Reason: fixing spelling
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.

Re: forum jump combo
That would mean a manual edit of the template files. And as it has been said many times, they would have to do this for every edit, and it would be out of the way.
Like i said in another thread, we need to make a list of improvements and send it to vBulletin.

Re: forum jump combo
Actually this simple move of the cbo box since its in the same template but as dclamp mentioned we try to avoid manual edits.
When a forum software upgrade is performed all the manual edits have to be re-added manually. If there is a drastic change in source code it may really complicate re-ading the edit.
Maybe something like adding a second cbo jump at the top right mirroring the layout of the bottom one would be possible as after an upgrade no functionality would be lost (we would still have the original one in place and only lose the top one) but still effort and time to re-add. But IMO its a minor mod that may just be too much effort for the return.
Still appreciate the feedback and awaiting the final word from Joe

I have no issue with this if you can get Joe to do it.
