ftp://192.168.0.2

and that it will be running 24-7 shortly (few days)

Strictly Speaking.... that is your ftp server url .

Hate to be pedantic, but that's your local ethernet adaptor address...block 192.168 is reserved for LANs :rolleyes:

At home that address is another PC in this room.

You need to use the address given by winipcfg.
