What is the difference between IIS and PWS? I hear that IIS works only in WinNT and Win2000, do I have to install IIS separately? or is it already installed when WinNT or Win2000 is installed?

You have to install IIS seperatly. (At least in win2k professional)
Go to control panel, and then add/remove programs, and then got to add windows components.

Hi Shafee
The difference between PWS and IIS is that PWS is for internal web services only. although PWS uses IIS's Engine you can only run pws on an intranet where as IIS is microsoft's full blown web server. Just think of pws as a cut down version of it's big brother
hope this helps

Thanks lanbaker, sail3005 for your replies.
I currently have a web site running in PWS. If I am to migrate to IIS, what are the changes I need to make? Do I have to change the code in ASP pages?
