FYI --
I know a few Codeguru people are staying at the Westin if possible. I plan to do the same.

However.... Westin was full for singles on Wed, so I had to book Sheraton.

Re: MVP Summit - Westin
What? I thought registration was just opened today?
I'm putting in for my vacation right after I talk to my boss to see if they will cover a few days instead of using all my vacation.
Ps, I'm gonna go if I get my vacation approved at least.

Yes, I registered 5 minutes after registration was to open. The good hotel rooms go fast, very fast.

Re: MVP Summit - Westin
Hmm, the Westin Seattle is still showing as available. Was there another Westin nearby or ???
Looks like the Sheraton is best for the event as its next door to the Convention Center. There are only 3 hotels in the list or were there more?

There were four hotels originally listed. The Westin didn't have Wednesday & Thursday night available on single rooms (I'm not planning to share, and I needed Wednesday night ).

Re: MVP Summit - Westin
Registration confirmed, Sheraton.
I'm trying to get my work to pay for my time instead of taking vacation time

I consider the time work and so does my company. Our stance is that the company gets as much direct benefit from what I learn as I do - if not more.

Re: MVP Summit - Westin
Just out of curiosity, what exactly is an MVP Summit? I mean what actually happens, are there like set talks/demos from Microsoft or is it just everyone meeting up?

Meeting, networking and talking about existing and upcoming technologies. They can be very busy.
