Registry problem

A week ago i used a app from microsoft that cleared out all the useless registry settings. Well know i enterd a registration code for an editor, and while its still going it says its registerd, but when i restart the editor, i have to enter the registration code again. I dont think its saving to the registry or something, any ideas?

Try removing and reinstalling the application.

I did, didnt help.
