I have used many different speed testing websites out there and lots of speed testing programs but almost all of them either arn't reliable or you have to pay to get all the features.

I am aiming to get a fully fledged FREE Internet Testing Program out there and not only will it extensivly test your Internet it will also make recommendations like using an Open DNS Server rather than your ISP Server if it responds better.

However this is a big project and I am asking for your help. I know its free and theres no money envolved but if everyone chips in a little it won't take long and will help millions of people.

I need help in two areas. The Programming of it (yes I know theres lots of different areas but anything will help)

And collecting information. For this program to work at its best I need to have a database of all the ISP's in all the countrys along with there Primary and Secondary DNS Servers, Internet Gateway and Website.

So if you can't dedicate a bit of time to help me with this project please at least post a reply (or a PM) with the following information:

I also am looking for servers on super fast connections around the world to host a couple of files for me and one of the tests will download a fair sized file to get the users average speed. All updates will be done via our server.

I also have one offer for a server in the UK which is on a 100MBps connection which is a big help, can anyone else please help?
