I love games like Civilization, Alien Crossfire, CTP, and the like. If anybody has one they created, I would LOVE to play it!

There is a quite popular one called 4000 a.d. Its made in vb...I know you can fnd it on planetsourcecode. :)

Thanks Steve! I will check it out!

I like the turn based because you can really get into the strategy. RPG games like Diablo and first-person shooters are OK - but don't really require much brain power - just hack-and-slash agression release (which we all occassionally need!). Real-Time strategy games like StarCraft are still pretty cool, and definitely more realistic, but sometimes I like being able to really plan out what my strategy is going to be - not always possible with real time.

Cool VB project but horrible playability.
