Hello,
I'm currently making my software Multilingual.
Is there any known place (website/people) to translate a program for you?
All captions are stored in a resource file so its all easy & neat.
Just need the translations. But I'm not looking for ordinary translators, but those that are technical (pc wise). So that they know special computers terms and be able to translate them to the appropriate language.

The best you can probably hope for is a straight word for word translation of the tecnical terms, but since grammer makes it understandable you probably need the help of someone who is fluent in both languages. You can buy that kind of tranlation online.

This question is in no way specific to VB6 - thread moved to General Developer.
I've never needed to do it myself, so can't comment on who is good/bad. What I would recommend is taking a quick look in the Yellow Pages, as the adverts should list their areas of expertise.

BTW I just tried the Google English to Spanish translator and while I have only a smattering of Spanish knowledge it seemed to do a decent job on sentences.

Google or babelfish will do a decent job for many things, like "print", "save","delete" etc.
However, there ARE companies out there that do this kind of work.
We used one a while back to translate a lot of mechanical terms into
7 different languages. They charge something like $.25 a word or phrase, (I was just a contractor, but it was something like that.)
but they were competent in the area of automotive mechanics and so had a better grasp of how things were described in the respective language.
So the answer is YES, but I have no idea where in the UK one might find this.
