color anyone?

How can i make color in a dos console application, please use the lib. that are included.

(im using VC++)
and also, how do i make text write slowly..... like under line a word

with ------ which appears 1 after the other every second.

I tried this, but it will go trough the loop and put the ------- there all at once.

Is there a refresh or osmething?
