the trick is to start with 1 and 8 in the middle and then
rest comes!!

It only took me 5 mins to figure the trick of putting the #s with the smallest possible consecutives in middle since they touch the most other numbers. Um no I dont know any other mind games off hand, but I like trying to figure them out. :)
