    Dubli - The European 'Ebay'

Has anyone heard of this site where you can drive the price down on products you wish to purchase through tokens. Supposedly a hit in Europe, and now promoted in the United States.

There is also a chance to promote their business and get residual income in the process.

    Is this a good opportunity?

Each click on "show price" lowers the actual price
The price decreases in 25-cent increments
Each "show price" click costs 80 cents
When the price is right - just buy it!
Erm, is it just me or will that be a net cost of 55c every time you click?

It is likely that it costs YOU 80 cents to click "Show Price", which also lowers the price by 25 cents. However EVERY person who clicks Show Price is lowering the overall price. So if 1000 people spend 80 cents each to show the price, the price has now dropped 250 bucks.

However that means the site made 800 bucks in 80 cent clicks just to sell this product for 250 less.

so a bunch of people spend money, and one person gets a deal????

Sounds a bit scammish to me. Even if I am wrong, the site seems to have too many hoops to jump through just to buy something...

    Oh I seeeee!

Yeah, that's absolutely a scam. It's basically a bidding system where you have to pay to bid. Combine that with not knowing what the current bid is (so you also don't know what your own bid is) and you've got a complete con.

Supposedly this is going to be a "hit" in the States!

There is a way to get into the business side of things and become an associate, then member, then a team leader then a Sales Leader for a small sum of $3200, and then bring on 3 people aboard to do the same thing.

Basically a MLM. But I'm even questioning the ethics and integrity of building a business this way. Why would a company that suppose to be a hit in Europe need that kind of financing to start in the US?

Well, I'm in Europe and I've never heard of it so it certainly hasn't been a big hit. Let's look at what we've learned so far:-
    1. They've got a product that's designed to prey on consumers who are too stupid to do basic maths.
    2. They're company structure reads exactly like a pyramid selling scheme.
    3. They've made claims about a level of success which are highly dubious.

My advice - don't touch 'em with a barge pole.

Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me... those are illegal.
