[RESOLVED] Dreaded MSFLXGRD.OCX error...
Hi
I have been developing a program for a while now, and to enable testing I have been using the P&D wizard in VB6 to package it and send to my brother. (VB6 SP6, Win XP SP3)
Everything was working OK, but recently I cannot package the project as I get the Message.
"Unexpected error number 372 has occurred: Failed to load control 'MSFLEXGRID' from MSFlxGrd.ocx. Your version of MSFlXGrd.Ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application"
I used to use MSflexgrid in the app but have changed to MSHFLexgrid. but the problem did not raise it's head at that point....
It compiles OK and i can run it on my system but cannot package and deploy it...
Could anyone help in getting out of this as I cannot send the app for testing?
I have tried several versions of the OCX to no avail, and also searching on here but no remedy has been forthcoming.
I seem to remember that you could remove resources from the package but can't find how to do it now!
Do I need the MSFlxgrd.ocx when using MSHFlxgrd?
Or is this an issue with XP SP3??
Many thanks in advance for any help in sorting this.
Regards

Re: Dreaded MSFLXGRD.OCX error...
Don't ask me how...
But for some reason after the 3rd attempt tonight to package it it worked...
Don't know if it had anything to do with trying INNO out but after that P&D wizard worked!!!!!
Oh well at least it works.
Cheers
