Crazes

We seem to be in the middle of the Pokemon craze....so I was just wondering what your childhood crazes were :)

Definately pogs! A bit earlier, it was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Transformers!!!

Yes, there was pogs a couple years ago, then there was the turtles before that, and the simpsons. Micro Machines were very popular at one point. Top Trumps (the cards). Oh and there was a time everyone had to have Nike Air or Reebok Pump trainers :rolleyes: that was stupid. Oh and those little pink squidgy plastic monster figure things, don't remember the name of them.

The biggest craze I remember was the turtles. I never liked them, just because everyone was so keen on them.

I remember begging to have my parents buy me the whole voltron collection ..i loved voltron...but eh i settled with Gi Joes and transformers :)

Speaking of pogs, I have the whole collection of 50 Star Wars pogs that came in packets of crisps, in the collector's folder thing, still in the plastic it came in :) Figure it could be worth at least five quid in fifty years time :rolleyes:

That won't help...even if you had 256 gigabytes of RAM, you'd run out of resources. The only way to get past this problem is to use NT.

It's because 9x is still 16bit internally.

I'm going back to the original topic here for a second. For a girls point of view, it was the 'Cabbage Patch Kids'. The 'Garbage Pail Kids' were also a big thing.

HE-MAN was my biggest, I did collect the whole set of them, until about a month after Matel released another 10 models :(

Transformers was another huge one.

Turtles was next - Michaelangelo was my favourite if anyone's interested ;)

Micro-Machines was out when I was about 14 - I think everyone collected them to show off how many they could actually afford.

Finally, each year would be the panini football stickers & the sticker albumns no-one could fill :D
