Hi,

A client of mine runs a bespoke website. He wants to send his clients a file that they can run and it opens up a browser with the URL of his site. However he has a specific Icon and wants this process to be as simple as possible for all his clients. Ideally it would need to work on Macs as well as PC's

Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

You could make an empty Setup project that contains the icon file and all it does is install the url shortcut to the desktop.

That way, they run the msi, it creates the icon on the desktop, and double-clicking it opens the site.

What is a "bespoke website"?

Bespoke: An individual or custom-made product or service.

Basically doesn't run any standard CMS system etc
