[RESOLVED] C# - Website Development Tips
Hello good members.
I am hit with a task, to build a functional Online Prepaid Calling Card website.
This site will allow customers to pay for and make international and local telephone calls.
I really don't know where to start, however, I have an idea of how the UI (User Interface) will look like.
Another drawback is although I have done programming in vb and java, I am told to use C#(C sharp) or ASP.Net which I have not used before, but I understand it's much like java and C languages.
Any Tips and ideas from anyone will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Giftx.

Re: C# - Website Development Tips
The first step is to design the layout of the pages. You can either do this yourself (learn HTML), get someone else to do it (web designer) or buy a template. Obviously, next, do as you'd usually do - entities, tables, etc. Then you'll have to read up on payment gateways, as this will enable you to use PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, etc. on your site so that users can pay. You'll have a lot of learning curves to go through and you should be posting your questions in the ASP.NET forum.

I suspect you might be spending a lot of time in mendhak's ASP.NET section.
I think he has an open bunk, so that shouldn't be a problem.
